Netanyahu Launches Offensive Against Jordan
Israeli prime Minister holds Jordan responsible for the Al-Karameh crossing operation during security cabinet meeting.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Jordan for yesterday’s operation at the Al-Karameh crossing during a meeting of Israel’s security cabinet.
Netanyahu announced that from now on,all trucks and drivers entering through this crossing woudl be subject to thorough inspections.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military released the identities of two soldiers killed in the Al-Karameh operation. Lt. Col. Yitzhak Harosh, a reservist officer in Unit 309, was among those killed.
Also killed was Lieutenant Oren Hirschko, who served as liaison with foreign forces in the Tafil brigade.
