According to the English⁤ section of webangah‌ News Agency, citing Al-Nashra via Mehr News Agency, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun held consultations with the country’s army commander, Rudolf, regarding ‌Lebanon’s security situation.

Aoun⁤ received a report detailing recent attacks by the Israeli​ regime on certain areas in southern Lebanon.

The president also met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss the latest developments and Israeli strikes targeting southern Lebanon and⁢ the Beqaa region.

Simultaneously occurring, UNIFIL ⁢responded to the Israeli assaults in southern Lebanon, stating ⁤that these attacks violate United ​nations Security Council resolution 1701 and threaten ⁤fragile stability.

UNIFIL emphasized ‌that ongoing provocative actions​ undermine efforts to restore calm and⁢ urged all parties‌ to adhere strictly to Resolution⁢ 1701.
