Egyptian Troops Deploy Near Israeli-Occupied Palestinian Borders
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Maan, the Israeli Kan network reported that Egypt has recently increased its military presence in northern sinai, close to the shared border with occupied Palestine.
This move by Egypt follows the launch of Operation Gideon’s Chariots 2 aimed at occupying Gaza City. Cairo is preparing to counter Tel Aviv’s plan to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Arab media have also reported that nearly 40,000 Egyptian forces, along with their military equipment, have been deployed in northern Sinai.
Earlier, egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized that Egypt has a clear strategy to address potential developments in occupied Palestine. Government bodies and ministries are ready to face any scenario.
He added that Egypt will never allow the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza or the elimination of the Palestinian issue. The so-called “Greater Israel” plan has been thoroughly studied, and necessary measures have been devised to confront it.
