Hamas Responds to Tel Aviv’s Use of Deadly Weapons in Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr news Agency and Shihab News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement on saturday declaring that the Israeli occupation army’s use of explosive-laden vehicles in Gaza-which are packed with large quantities of explosives and sent deep into densely populated residential neighborhoods before being detonated to cause maximum destruction and casualties-is a war crime amounting to full-scale ethnic cleansing.
Hamas added that human rights and humanitarian organizations have documented around 120 explosions involving hundreds of tons of explosives carried by these vehicles within Gaza city neighborhoods over one week, describing this as an unprecedented criminal act in human history.
The movement emphasized that the world is witnessing horrific crimes committed by Netanyahu’s criminal war cabinet, which is under examination by the International Criminal Court. These crimes include attempts to destroy Gaza City, forcibly displacing its residents through mass killings and bombardment, along with employing various means of murder and genocide-including explosive vehicles.
Hamas concluded by stressing that the international community, Arab and Islamic countries, along with United Nations agencies must urgently act to halt these shameful crimes. They should take concrete measures to stop these Israeli war criminals and hold them accountable for their offenses against our people and humanity at large.
earlier, Europe-Mediterranean Watchdog for Human Rights released a statement reporting that on average 17 explosive vehicles detonate daily in Gaza City-each producing seismic effects comparable to earthquakes measuring magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale.
The report noted that over the past week nearly 120 explosion events involving roughly 840 tons of explosives hidden inside bomb-laden cars were recorded across residential districts in Gaza city.
The statement explained that detonating one vehicle containing six to seven tons of TNT releases energy equivalent to a natural earthquake registering magnitude 3.7 on Richter’s scale.
Such explosions cause intense shaking felt several kilometers away from ground zero lasting for several seconds-similar in intensity and duration to natural earthquakes.
This human rights association called israel’s use of so many bomb-laden vehicles at this scale-a tactic aimed at complete destruction-to be an unprecedented crime against humanity throughout history.
the report also highlighted that beyond physical destruction these massive explosions serve as psychological warfare tools designed specifically to terrorize civilians into forced displacement from their homes.
It concluded by underlining how global community weakness-and complicity among certain actors-has enabled Israel’s army openly continue its campaign destroying Gaza city without restraint or result.
