Amr Moussa: Arab Countries Are Seeking New Allies
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Russia Today Al-Youm, Amr Moussa, former Secretary-General of the Arab League, emphasized in a televised interview that following Israeli aggression against qatar, Arab countries are seeking new allies.
He also highlighted the signing of a joint defense agreement between Pakistan and saudi Arabia. Moussa noted that this pact with a nuclear power marks a clear transformation in international alliances. The facts demonstrate that relying solely on one country-namely the United States-for defending Arab nations is no longer viable.
Moussa stated that especially Gulf countries are pursuing new partnerships to protect themselves from Israeli aggressions similar to those witnessed by Qatar.
He added, “israel’s current policies will not guarantee long-term security and stability. Only a just and complete resolution of the Palestinian issue can deliver true security. The unprecedented US support for Israel will not last forever. We are witnessing an international awakening against these policies.”
