New Wave of Ships from Around the World Headed to Gaza
The International commitee to Break the Siege of Gaza announced that a new fleet of ships will depart on Saturday from Italy toward the Gaza Strip in an effort to end the 18-year blockade, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm.
The committee confirmed that the departure date for these ships from the port of San Giovanni Li Cuti, Italy, is scheduled for Saturday, September 27.
According to reports, the exact number of ships participating in this new wave has not been specified. Currently,50 vessels are heading toward GazaS shores as part of the global Samoud fleet.
Last night, organizers of this fleet reported attacks on vessels affiliated with samoud.
This marks the first time such a large number of ships from around the world have attempted to reach Gaza concurrently.
