Qatar: Trump Is the Only Person Who Can Control Netanyahu
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s prime Minister and Foreign Minister, told the analysis website Breitbart that Donald Trump’s meeting with Arab and Muslim leaders was highly meaningful. Trump listened to their concerns and intends to cooperate with them to resolve the crisis.
He added that Israel’s actions endanger regional security and U.S. interests.
Israel’s moves undermine decades of cooperation and partnerships Washington has built in the region.
The Qatari foreign minister further stated that the Arab world is looking to President Trump for help in establishing peace in Gaza.
Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to ending the war in Gaza and is working with his team on a peace plan.
We seek to support Trump’s team in making this plan more acceptable and supported within the region,he said.
In another part of his remarks, he noted: Trump is the only person who can rein in Netanyahu. It is crucial for Trump to understand that everything Netanyahu does does not serve Washington’s interests.
The Qatari prime minister added that Israel’s attack on Doha during negotiations about Trump’s proposal undermined Washington’s efforts.
He went on: What we heard from Trump was very encouraging, and we hope to return to a proper path.
“We hope Netanyahu will finally listen and stop his actions,” he said.
The prime minister pointed out that all meetings and agreements made after Israel’s attack on Doha have been called into question, adding: We hope ther will be someone who can restore stability to the Middle East.
He concluded: What is happening now is complete chaos caused by Netanyahu’s actions across the Middle east.
