Grossi: I Discussed Iran and Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant with Putin
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al jazeera, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stated that he held a vrey critically important discussion with President Vladimir Putin yesterday.
He added that during the meeting, he discussed iran’s nuclear program and highlighted Russia’s crucial role as a member of the JCPOA.
Grossi also mentioned that he spoke with Putin about the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. He emphasized that Russia’s cooperation with the agency continues across nearly all areas, including nuclear safety.
Moreover, Grossi noted that his timely meeting and talks with Rosatom’s CEO aimed to exchange views on nuclear safety issues related to the Zaporizhzhia plant.
