German Parliament Member Urges Berlin to Suspend Agreements with Israel
German parliamentarian calls to pressure government into suspending israel agreements until genocide in Gaza stops.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Lia Reissner, a member of the German bundestag, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera on Saturday: “We must pressure our government to suspend agreements with Israel until the genocide in Gaza ceases.”
The German parliamentarian added,”recognition of the State of Palestine has long been delayed. Germany should join other countries on this path.”
So far, numerous countries including France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia, Luxembourg and Malta have officially recognized Palestine.
