According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, news sources have reported the demolition of Palestinian homes by Israeli occupying forces.
A video has emerged showing an Israeli bulldozer demolishing houses in the village of Bruqin, located in the Salfit area of the West Bank.
The demolition of Palestinian homes, especially in recent years, has been one of Israel’s primary tactics to instill fear among Palestinians. Since 1967,thousands of residential units have been destroyed by Israeli forces across the West Bank,gaza Strip,and East Jerusalem. Thousands of residents have been displaced as an inevitable result. Israel justifies these demolitions mainly by citing lack of building permits or accusing occupants of involvement in anti-Israeli activities. From an international law perspective, these home demolitions constitute collective punishment and directly violate established legal norms.
