U.S. Provides Intelligence to Ukraine for Deep Strikes Inside Russian Territory
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via TASS, The wall Street Journal wrote that the United States plans to supply Kyiv with intelligence support to aid missile attacks targeting Russian energy infrastructure deep inside Russia.
The report adds that U.S. officials have urged NATO members to offer similar assistance to Ukraine. Sources cited in the newspaper also disclosed that Washington is considering providing Ukraine with Tomahawk and Barracuda cruise missiles, although no final decision has been made.
Vassily Nebenzia, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, stated yesterday that Moscow would respond appropriately if the U.S. moves forward with such a plan.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister sergey Lavrov said supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is not yet confirmed. though, he expressed Kremlin confidence that even if Washington delivers these weapons, it would not alter conditions on the battlefield.
