Trump Responds to Hamas Reply on Gaza Peace Plan
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, U.S. President Donald trump responded on his social media platform, Truth Social, by sharing hamas’s statement regarding his ceasefire peace plan for Gaza.
This occurred minutes after White House spokesperson Caroline Lewitt announced that “President Trump will respond to Hamas’s acceptance of his plan.”
The statement was released promptly following Hamas’s conditional agreement.
Meanwhile, Hamas’s response to Trump’s peace proposal has drawn mixed reactions from Israeli and American political figures and media outlets.
In this context, the Israeli news site Walla analyzed that “Hamas’s response now puts the ball in President Trump’s court.”
The site also warned that Hamas is taking a risk as Trump is no longer willing to engage in “games.”
According to this Hebrew outlet, “What Hamas has done with this statement is essentially an attempt at ‘buying time and deceiving everyone.'”

Graham concluded that “essentially, this kind of reply from Hamas signals their outright opposition to Trump’s plan.”
