Witkoff and Trump’s Son-in-Law Travel to Egypt to Negotiate Prisoner Releases
The English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Israel’s Times of israel,reported that a US official announced Steve Whitaker,the United States Special Envoy,and Jared Kushner,former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law,plan to travel to Egypt.
According to these sources, the trip will take place over the weekend local time. It’s purpose is to negotiate final details of a US plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza.
The Wall Street Journal also quoted informed American and Arab officials saying that President Donald Trump will soon send Steve Whitaker and Jared Kushner to West Asia as part of efforts to secure a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Hebrew media additionally claimed delegations from both the Israeli regime and Hamas have departed for Cairo.
