Algerian Activist: Two Days in Israeli Jail Felt Like Two Years

An Algerian activist detained by⁢ Israeli forces during participation in the Samoud flotilla spoke about the hardships endured in Israeli prisons.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Russia Today, Abdelrazak Makri, an Algerian political activist who was arrested ‌by Israeli soldiers during his involvement in⁣ the Samoud flotilla and transferred to an Israeli prison, emphasized that ⁤he gained a clear understanding of the pain and suffering experienced by Palestinian prisoners ⁤inside these facilities.

He added, “It was there that we felt the ​full ​intensity of oppression and⁣ humiliation from Israeli ​soldiers. They even prevented⁣ medication from reaching‍ patients. We spent two days in Israeli prisons, but it felt⁤ like two years to us.”

After his​ release from ⁤Israeli custody, ‍makri was flown to Turkey.

He saeid,”We achieved our⁣ goal of exposing IsraelS ⁤acts of aggression.”

It is noteworthy that 11 Algerian activists remain detained in Israeli prisons.
