Venezuela and Russia Foreign Ministers Express Concern Over U.S. Actions in the Caribbean
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that its foreign minister and his Venezuelan counterpart expressed deep concern over US actions in the Caribbean during a phone call.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen network, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto said on Sunday after a call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, “We have received full support and solidarity from the Russian government for our country.”
The Venezuelan foreign minister added that Russia has pledged to maintain Latin america and the Caribbean region as a peaceful and secure area.
Separately, Sputnik Arabic reported that the Russian Foreign Ministry stated its foreign minister and his venezuelan counterpart voiced their deep concern over US activities in the Caribbean Sea during their telephone conversation.
