Six ISIS Hideouts Destroyed in Iraq’s Nineveh Province
Iraqi sources have reported the arrest of an ISIS leader in Kirkuk,according to webangah News Agency, which cited Mehr news Agency and shafaq News.
The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service revealed that a sensitive intelligence operation, conducted according to judicial orders and in coordination with the Directorate general of Counter-terrorism in sulaymaniyah, led to the capture of an ISIS commander in Kirkuk province.
The association stated that this terrorist held command over what was known as the Al-Fallujah Wilayah and operated within salah al-Din Wilayah. He carried out several terrorist attacks against security forces and civilians before fleeing to Sulaymaniyah province.
Meanwhile,Iraqi forces destroyed six ISIS hideouts through surveillance and ambush operations in the Makhmour area of Nineveh province.
