Mahmoud Qomati: Hezbollah Is Ready
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Sputnik via Mehr News Agency,Mahmoud Qomati,a member of Hezbollah’s political council in Lebanon,stated that the party is prepared to confront any new Israeli military attacks against Lebanon and also withstand political pressures from domestic factions.
He added that it appears Tel Aviv and Washington aim to escalate military pressure on Lebanon by implementing Trump’s plan, despite the heavy losses already suffered by Israel’s army in Gaza.
Qomati also noted that calls for Hezbollah’s disarmament may increase with intensified international and political pressure. However, he stressed that Hezbollah remains fully prepared while maintaining flexibility and welcomes internal dialogue to reinforce national unity against any new aggression from Israel.
He further remarked that irrespective of Hamas’ position, Trump’s plan is full of gaps, voids, and traps designed to eliminate the Palestinian issue.He urged vigilance toward this proposal.
