UK Prime Minister Responds to Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
The English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed the agreement between Hamas and Israel on the first phase of a peace plan. He said: “I welcome this agreement, which must now be implemented fully without delay.”
According to Al Jazeera’s report from The Telegraph, the british Prime Minister emphasized that the implementation should include “the immediate lifting of all restrictions on aid to Gaza.” He urged all parties to honor their commitments and bring an end to the war.
Earlier, Hamas released a statement announcing it had reached an agreement aimed at ending the war in Gaza. The deal includes withdrawal of Israeli forces, humanitarian aid access, and prisoner exchanges. Hamas expressed appreciation for Qatar,Egypt,and Turkey as mediators.
Hamas also called on former U.S.President Trump, mediating countries, and also Arab and Islamic parties to compel Israel to fully implement the agreement.
