Two Years of Israeli Regime Aggression Inflicts $70 Billion in Damage on Gaza Strip
The Government Information Office in Gaza released new figures on casualties and damages resulting from two years of Israeli aggression. They condemned what they described as acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing committed by the occupiers during this period and called for an urgent, thorough reconstruction plan for Gaza based on a clear framework, according to a report by webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera.
According to this Palestinian authority, Gaza’s healthcare system has entirely collapsed.
The report adds that the occupying regime has killed 193 scientists and academics in Gaza over the past two years.
The Government Information Office emphasized that during these two years, the occupiers blocked hundreds of thousands of aid trucks from entering Gaza and targeted food distribution centers. The Israeli enemy forcibly displaced two million Palestinians and kept border crossings closed for more than 600 days, preventing aid from reaching those in need.
Initial damage estimates show losses exceeding $70 billion across vital sectors. The occupiers have destroyed over 670 schools and killed more than 13,500 students.
The report also urged residents of Gaza to cooperate with government agencies and humanitarian organizations at this new stage. Officials affirmed their commitment to protecting people’s rights and rebuilding what has been destroyed by the occupiers without hesitation.
