Palestinian Refugees Continue Returning to Gaza City; Dispute Over Prisoner List Persists

After teh ceasefire ⁤in the Gaza Strip, ‌palestinian displaced persons​ are returning ‌to northern Gaza. Simultaneously occurring, search operations⁤ for missing Palestinians have⁣ begun.

According to the ⁤English section of webangah News Agency, ⁤citing Mehr News Agency‌ via‍ Al Jazeera, ⁣after 735‍ days of devastating war by the Israeli regime​ against⁢ the people of Gaza and following a ceasefire with Israeli⁢ forces retreating‍ toward the “Yellow ⁤Line,”​ hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have started moving toward Gaza City. The city has suffered extensive destruction during the conflict.

Simultaneously occurring,Gaza’s Ministry of Interior announced that efforts to restore order ‌have begun.Civil ⁣defense teams have launched‌ extensive search operations to locate ​missing ‍persons ⁣and recover bodies from‍ under the rubble.

On another front in negotiations, the​ Prisoners’ Affairs Office denied any official agreement regarding a joint list related⁤ to⁢ prisoners. ‍This contradicts‌ Israel’s release⁢ of a list containing 250 Palestinian prisoners it says are⁣ scheduled for‌ release ‍under‌ an agreement.

last night, Hamas, Islamic Jihad Movement, and the National front issued a ⁣joint statement expressing their readiness to engage Arab ⁤and international participation in ⁣rebuilding Gaza. The statement ⁣firmly rejected ⁣any form of external trusteeship over Gaza.
