Zelensky and Trump Discuss Boosting Ukraine’s Defense Capabilities

According ⁤to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn ​Al⁤ Jazeera,‍ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Saturday that he ⁢held consultations with U.S. President Donald​ Trump.

The Ukrainian president stated,​ “I had a good and constructive⁤ conversation with President Trump and congratulated him on his ⁣success ⁣in the middle East (referring to efforts to halt Israel’s war against the oppressed people of Gaza).‌ I appreciate Trump’s willingness to support⁣ Ukraine.”

Zelensky added, “We discussed strengthening‌ our air defense and agreements currently ‌being prepared in this regard. Good options have been proposed to enhance our country’s defense capabilities.”
