According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Quds TV released distressing footage of Israeli military prison guards abusing Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release as part of a prisoner swap.
The israeli Prison Service defended the ongoing mistreatment, claiming that one Palestinian prisoner, who was due for release under the agreement, attacked his guard at Nafha Prison.
This report comes as Israel’s Kan News Channel stated that officials expect the release of Israeli captives on Monday. They do not rule out that the process may effectively begin tomorrow.
