173 Humanitarian Aid Trucks Enter Gaza on First Day of Ceasefire
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Information Center, reported that on Sunday, October 12-the first day after the ceasefire-173 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid crossed into the Gaza Strip.
The statement noted that among these shipments were three trucks of liquefied gas and six trucks of diesel fuel, intended to operate bakeries, generators, and hospitals. These essential supplies are urgently needed due to the prolonged blockade.
Though, it emphasized that these quantities remain very limited and represent onyl a small fraction of what is required for more than 2.4 million residents of Gaza.
The statement added that Gaza’s government offices continue to coordinate with international organizations and relief agencies to manage the arrival and distribution of aid effectively.
According to the ceasefire agreement brokered by Trump, at least 400 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance are scheduled daily for delivery to Gaza’s population.
