173 Humanitarian Aid Trucks Enter Gaza on First Day of Ceasefire

The Gaza media office announced the entry of⁣ 173 trucks carrying humanitarian aid into ⁤the Gaza Strip ​following the ceasefire declaration in the region.

The ‍English section of webangah⁢ News Agency, ⁣citing ‍Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Information Center, reported that on Sunday, October 12-the first day ⁣after the ceasefire-173 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid ​crossed into​ the Gaza Strip.

The statement noted that among ‍these shipments⁣ were three trucks of liquefied gas and six‍ trucks of⁢ diesel fuel, intended to operate‍ bakeries, generators, and⁤ hospitals.⁢ These‍ essential supplies ‌are urgently needed due⁤ to the prolonged ⁤blockade.

Though,‌ it emphasized ​that these quantities⁤ remain very limited and represent onyl a ⁤small fraction of what ​is required for more than‌ 2.4 million residents of Gaza.

The statement added that ‌Gaza’s‌ government offices continue to coordinate with⁤ international organizations and relief agencies to manage the arrival and distribution of aid effectively.

According to the ceasefire agreement brokered by Trump,⁤ at​ least ‍400 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance are scheduled daily⁢ for delivery ⁤to Gaza’s ⁣population.
