Red Cross Receives Bodies of Two Israeli Prisoners
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, israeli media have announced the beginning of the process to hand over the bodies of Israeli prisoners to the Red Cross.
channel 12 of Israeli television reported that the Red Cross has received the bodies of two prisoners.
The Israel broadcasting Corporation confirmed that the transfer process has begun and stated that the army also confirmed handing over two prisoner bodies to the Red Cross.
The Israel Defense Forces added that shortly thereafter, they will deliver two more prisoners’ bodies to the organization.
Meanwhile, both the Israeli military and Shin Bet demanded Hamas adhere to their agreement and make all necessary efforts to return all prisoners’ remains.
Earlier today, Israeli media reported that International Committee of the Red Cross forces moved toward an area in southern Gaza Strip intending to receive coffins containing several deceased prisoners’ bodies.
The Israeli military confirmed this report and noted there were additional coffins present at the site.
Separately, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant claimed that delivering four prisoner bodies violates their agreement. He warned that any delay or hesitation in returning these remains constitutes a breach,which would prompt a reciprocal response from israel.
