Following the terrorist incident on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in the city of Kerman, the terrorist group of the Islamic State (ISIS) took responsibility for this action by publishing a notice. This group announced in its virtual media that two members of this group detonated their suicide belts; They committed this heinous crime.

According to official sources, 93 people were martyred and more than 200 people were injured in this incident. There are 14 foreigners among the martyrs.

This incident happened at the same time as the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani. He, who was a well-known figure in the fight against terrorism and ISIS, was martyred by the military forces of this country by the order of the President of the United States while he was in Iraq for an official mission.

The role and position of Sardar Soleimani in the fight against ISIS and the destruction of this group cannot be hidden.
