Jewish Captive Freed from Israeli Prison by Hamas

after years of imprisonment in Israeli facilities and while sentenced to six life terms, he was released under this prisoner swap deal.
Sudeqa, a resident of the mountainous Jareezim region and a leader within the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, has become a symbol of Palestinian national unity beyond religion and sectarian divisions through his presence among those freed by Hamas.
Israel had previously refused to release him in earlier agreements because his case contradicts their racially charged narrative regarding the religious dimensions of Palestinian resistance. Sudeqa’s prolonged detention proves that Zionist occupiers target all Palestinians indiscriminately.
