Reuters: Seven Pakistani Soldiers Killed Near Afghanistan Border
Reuters reports that 7 Pakistani soldiers were killed near the Afghan border.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency, reported that Reuters, quoting Pakistani security officials, claimed seven Pakistani soldiers were killed in a suicide attack near the Afghanistan border.
Separately, Tolonews reported an armed assault on Pakistani forces in North Waziristan. Security sources alleged that militants linked to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked Pakistani troops there.
According to this report, a bomber drove a vehicle loaded with explosives into Khaddi Fort before a group of attackers engaged in firefights with the pakistani military.
Heavy clashes between TTP militants and Pakistan’s army continue in the area.
