according to teh English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, news outlets have reported a fire onboard a Chinese flight en route to Seoul, South Korea.
A fire broke out in the cabin of the CA139 flight operated by an airline from Hangzhou. the aircraft made an emergency landing at Shanghai Airport.
The fire was reportedly triggered by a lithium battery inside one passenger’s bag during the flight from Hangzhou to South Korea.
Sources confirmed that no passengers were injured during the incident. To continue the journey, a replacement plane was dispatched to Shanghai Airport.
