Mass Shooting in Cape Town, South Africa Leaves 7 Dead
According too teh English section of webangah News Agency, citing Xinhua via Mehr news Agency, local police confirmed that seven men died in a mass shooting in Cape Town, South Africa.
The incident took place on R53 Road in the Phillipi East area, a suburb of Cape Flats. Seven men aged between 20 adn 30 were shot dead in what authorities described as a “violent act.”
An official statement released Saturday morning by the South African Police Service (SAPS) said police launched an extensive search operation following the shootings.
The statement reads: “Detectives attached to the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit have been assigned to this case and are pursuing all leads to identify and arrest those responsible for this brutal attack.”
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and no arrests have been made so far.
