Human Rights Watch Issues Stern Statement Against Israeli Regime

Euro-mediterranean Human ‌Rights Monitor strongly condemns the destruction of⁣ EU-funded livelihood infrastructure in ⁢Gaza by‍ the Israeli regime.

The English section‍ of‍ webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor issued a statement⁣ sharply condemning the systematic destruction of projects, infrastructure, and housing units that have been wholly or partially funded by the ⁣European Commission and EU countries.

These projects were mainly implemented through ⁤Palestinian civil society organizations or United Nations bodies, especially the United Nations Relief and Works ‍Agency for Palestine Refugees⁣ (UNRWA). They have been destroyed⁤ in Gaza over⁢ the past ⁤two ‌years amid what is described as genocide by the Israeli⁢ regime.

In its press release, Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor emphasized that Israel’s systematic demolition not only targets physical⁤ property but also vital systems established to guarantee Palestinians’ basic rights⁣ to access clean water, healthcare, education, and⁢ adequate housing. Such actions constitute a ⁢clear violation of Tel Aviv’s obligations as an ‌occupying power under international humanitarian law.
