Al-Qassam Brigades Issue Statement on Discovery of Another Israeli Captive’s Body
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated in a declaration that they have found the body of another Israeli prisoner and will deliver it if circumstances allow, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera.
“During our ongoing search operation today, we discovered the body of another Israeli captive. If field conditions are suitable, we will hand it over today,” said the statement from Al-Qassam Brigades.
The military wing emphasized that any escalation by Israel would hinder search efforts and recovery operations, delaying the return of fallen Israeli soldiers’ bodies by the occupying regime.
This declaration comes as Al-Qassam brigades reaffirmed their full commitment to all agreements-especially maintaining a ceasefire across Gaza-in response to accusations regarding violations following an incident in Rafah on Sunday.
