Grand Funeral Held for Senior Yemeni Military Official + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Masirah via Mehr News Agency, the body of martyr Mohammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army, was carried by a large crowd during a grand funeral procession at Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a.
On Monday, Yemen’s capital held the funeral ceremony for Mohammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. The Ansarallah movement announced his martyrdom several days ago. He was recognized as one of Ansarallah’s prominent commanders and played a key role in military operations over the past two decades.
The funeral began at 10 a.m. after prayers led by Yemen’s Mufti at Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a. Thousands-including civilians, military officials, and Ansarallah leaders-attended. Participants waved Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans supporting resistance movements.
An Al-Masirah reporter confirmed massive public turnout for this senior Yemeni military official’s funeral.
On October 16th (24th Mehr),Yemen’s Armed Forces announced in a statement that Major General Mohammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari was martyred along with his 13-year-old son. Major General Youssef Hassan al-Madani has been appointed as his successor.
