Ryabkov: The Process of Putin-Trump Meeting Is Complex

According to the English section ​of ⁤ webangah News Agency, citing⁢ Sputnik via Mehr ‌News Agency, ​Sergey Ryabkov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, ⁤said ⁤on Wednesday that⁤ Russia and the​ United States have ‌not ​exchanged‌ any notes​ regarding Ukraine in recent days. ⁣He added ​that numerous rumors ‍circulating in Western media do not​ help the ‍situation. Preparations for ‌a​ Russia-US summit are ongoing.

Ryabkov further explained that Russia is focused on developing the substantive content for a meeting between ‍Putin and Trump. ⁣He noted there ​is​ still no agreement regarding a meeting between Lavrov and Rubio. While⁣ he sees ‍no significant ‍barriers⁢ to a Putin-Trump‍ encounter,‍ he emphasized that the ​process is ​complex.
