Gas Pipeline Explosion in Iraq’s Capital Kills One
A gas pipeline explosion in western Baghdad, Iraq, left one dead and several injured.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al-Russia Al-Youm network, Iraqi security sources reported that an explosion on a gas pipeline in western Baghdad resulted in four energy police officers being killed or injured.
Rescue and security teams were instantly dispatched to the scene, and investigations into the cause of the blast have begun.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been disclosed.
