This proclamation comes after multiple reports indicated that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev intended to⁤ host the 70th anniversary meeting of European Zionist rabbis⁤ in mid-november. The ⁣conference was expected to gather nearly 500 Jewish rabbis from around the world.
