Hamas Spokesman: Committed to Fully Implementing First Phase of Agreement
Hamas spokesperson confirmed the group remains fully committed to implementing the first phase of the agreement.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Hazem Qassem, Hamas spokesperson, told Al jazeera Mubasher that they are persistent to return the bodies of prisoners held by the occupying regime as soon as possible.
He added that they are committed to completing the initial stage of the agreement to eliminate any justification for continued aggression by the occupying regime.
The Hamas spokesperson also stated that they have so far handed over 18 bodies of captured enemy combatants, but limited resources have elaborate transferring additional remains.
