Venus: The US Must Conduct Nuclear Tests Occasionally
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said the United States needs to carry out periodic nuclear tests to ensure its arsenal functions properly.
The vice president did not specify whether the U.S. plans to resume explosive nuclear testing.
Recently, former President Donald Trump announced that the United States would restart testing of nuclear weapons.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, responding to Trump’s statement, said that russia’s recent tests of a nuclear-powered missile and unmanned underwater (drone) vessels were not nuclear weapons tests.
Peskov emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously warned that if any country conducts a test of nuclear weapons, Moscow would respond with reciprocal measures.
