PMF Establishes New Security Posts Near Syrian Borders
Popular Mobilization Forces have established new defensive positions near the Syrian border as part of their security measures to combat terrorist infiltration.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Maalomah, Popular Mobilization Forces reinforced their positions yesterday in areas close to the border strip wiht Syria and set up new headquarters in western Anbar province.
The report states that these forces have created new defensive posts along the shared borders with Syria under a security plan aimed at preventing terrorist incursions.
Commanders emphasize enhancing protection of Iraq’s desert regions by installing thermal cameras and constructing observation towers.
