According to the commission’s declaration, Samia Suluhu Hassan secured 66.97% of the votes.

The declaration of her overwhelming win⁤ with‌ nearly 100% turnout coincides with violent protests that ‌began three days ago across Tanzania.

Sputnik reports that following the final results, president ‍Suluhu’s inauguration ceremony​ is expected to be‌ held swiftly today, ‍Saturday.
