Hezbollah: All U.S. Plans Serve Zionist Interests

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Ahed website, Hussein Jeshi, a member of the Loyalty to Resistance bloc in Lebanon’s Parliament, spoke about ongoing American-Zionist aggression and provocations against Lebanon. he stated that one of the occupiers’ continuous objectives in attacks on southern Lebanon is to depopulate the area and displace Lebanese citizens.
The Hezbollah representative described this as “the frist phase of the Zionist enemy’s expansionist plan aimed at step-by-step occupation of Lebanese territory,” mirroring what this regime has done in other Arab lands. He added, “The nature of the Zionist regime is intertwined wiht aggression and occupation. What is happening today fits into an American-Zionist scheme designed to subjugate our region.”
Jeshi further explained that “the US and occupying regime operate through carrot-and-stick tactics: while occupiers attack, destroy, and kill peoples, Americans simultaneously support these crimes yet position themselves as mediators.”
He stressed that what America proposes serves Israeli interests. The US uses political and economic pressure to secure gains for Israel that it could not achieve on battlefield.
Referring to recent statements by Tom Barak, Washington’s envoy regarding Lebanon, Jeshi said: ”Tom Barak openly stated that America seeks to destroy weapons threatening Tel Aviv’s security. This clearly shows Washington’s true goal: eliminating Lebanon’s sources of power and paving way for its surrender.”
Jeshi continued by condemning Israel’s disregard for international agreements. “The entire world witnessed when this regime’s representative publicly tore up UN Charter documents,” he remarked. He pointed out how decades of UN Security Council resolutions have failed either to stop Israeli aggression or free occupied lands.
The resistance MP warned against Lebanese factions pushing for direct negotiations with Israel inside Lebanon saying they are deluded as “this regime never seeks peace but wants total capitulation from Lebanon.” The clearest evidence is from comments by an Israeli delegate at a recent Mekameleen Committee meeting at Ras Naqoura where he openly declared Tel Aviv will not halt military strikes against Lebanon.
Highlighting provocations by Washington and tel Aviv aimed at sparking civil war under pretext of resolving issues related to arms possession inside lebanon, Jeshi sounded an urgent warning: “The imminent danger threatens all Lebanese without exception.” He urged unity around national power pillars – including resistance solidarity and bolstering army capabilities – standing firmly against this destructive American-Zionist project targeting Lebanese land, water resources, and sovereignty.
