Hamas Hands Over Captured Israeli Body to Red Cross + Video
The English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that the Palestinian news outlet Palestine Today released exclusive footage showing the Al-Qassam brigades-the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)-recently handing over the body of an Israeli captive to Red Cross personnel.
This transfer occurred hours after the Martyr Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades announced that their fighters discovered the body of one of the captured Israeli soldiers during a search operation in eastern Shuja’iyya neighborhood earlier today.
According to Al-Qassam, arrangements are underway to deliver the body to the Israeli side.
The statement from Al-Qassam noted that engineering equipment and technical teams accompanying their forces alongside Red Cross personnel played a crucial role in accelerating both locating and extracting bodies within what is referred to as the “yellow Line” area. This cooperation has resulted in finding several additional bodies.
