Negotiations on Besieged Resistance Members Continue Despite Israeli Obstruction

an official in‍ the Hamas movement announced ongoing talks with mediator countries regarding the situation of besieged resistance members‌ trapped in a tunnel‍ in Rafah, adding that these efforts continue despite obstacles ⁤imposed by the Israeli regime.

according⁤ to the English section ⁣of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr ⁢News Agency, an⁤ informed hamas official who wished to remain ‌anonymous told Al Jazeera‌ that Israel is spreading misinformation through its media to falsely suggest it has allowed ⁤resistance members to exit ‌the Rafah tunnel, ‌while reality contradicts this ‍claim.

Meanwhile, some Israeli media outlets ⁣have presented differing accounts of the situation.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the Trump management proposed ‍that besieged ‍resistance members in ‌the Rafah tunnel surrender and hand over their weapons to a third party in exchange for an Israeli pardon.

A senior Israeli official ⁢told Channel 12⁣ that they currently oppose all terms of America’s proposal aimed at resolving the crisis involving those ⁤trapped in the ⁤Rafah tunnel.

Channel 12 also stated that Washington has requested Turkey’s intelligence‌ agency mediate on behalf of‌ those besieged. Ibrahim Kalin, head of Turkish intelligence, recently met with a Hamas delegation as‍ part⁢ of this effort.
