Iraq Election Commission: No Possibility of Fraud in Elections
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Mel News website, Jumana Al-Ghalai, spokesperson for Iraq’s Electoral Commission, stated that there is no chance of irregularities occurring during the 2025 parliamentary election voting procedures.
She emphasized that ballot boxes are secured with confidential locks, and all electronic voting devices are connected via cables to an electronic network, making them impervious to tampering.
Al-Ghalai added that result-processing devices only read ballots recorded through the electronic voting machines. This process is coordinated with security agencies specializing in cybersecurity to ensure the election’s integrity.
She also noted that voter ballots are protected and cannot be manipulated.citizens can visit registration centers to obtain their voter cards before casting their votes at polling stations.
