Suicide Attack in Pakistan’s Capital Kills 12
The blast occurred around midday near the entrance gate of the Supreme Court building in Islamabad, according to webangah News Agency.
Islamabad features multiple security layers, and this explosion took place in the parking area of the busy judicial and administrative complex.
The blast was powerful enough to be heard several kilometers away. It damaged several parked vehicles near the court building, which hosts hundreds of visitors daily.
Two security officials told Associated Press that the explosion was caused by a car bomb.No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
