Macron Calls for Drafting a Constitution for the State of Palestine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron stated in a joint press conference with Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority, that Paris is drafting a new constitution aimed at establishing the necessary conditions for creating a Palestinian state.
meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that France informed Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar that all Israeli companies are permitted to participate in the arms fair taking place in Paris next week.
The network noted that the French government has officially authorized Israeli companies’ presence at this exhibition-a move directly contradicting Macron’s comments about efforts toward drafting a Palestinian constitution.
