Settler Violence in West Bank Draws Condemnation from Israeli Officials

Two Israeli officials strongly condemned the intensifying violence by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Yair Lapid, opposition leader to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, stated that extremist violence and the government’s negligence harm Israel. He noted that this is why the Netherlands is advancing a plan to impose sanctions on products made in the West Bank.
yair Golan, head of Israel’s Democratic Party and also a member of Netanyahu’s opposition, stressed that Jewish terrorist acts in the West Bank are increasing and worsening. He added these actions are neither Jewish nor israeli.
