Saudi King Urges Citizens to Perform Rain Prayer

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing the official Saudi news agency and Mehr News agency, the Saudi Royal Court issued a statement announcing ⁣that, following the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) regarding rain-seeking prayers, King Salman bin Abdulaziz has called ⁤for⁤ this prayer to be held across the country on Thursday.

The statement ‍emphasized that everyone should seek ‍forgiveness, ⁢turn back to God, perform ⁤righteous deeds, and help alleviate others’ hardships in hopes that God will grant relief.

The Saudi Ministry ⁢of Islamic Affairs also confirmed that preparations have been made to organize this prayer nationwide.
