Freedom of Speech Tel Aviv Style: Army Radio Signal to Be Cut

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shihab, Israel katz, Defense Minister of the Israeli regime, announced that Israel Army Radio will be shut down due to its broadcasts critical of the army and soldiers.
Katz called on the Israeli cabinet to approve this move.
He stated that current programming would continue until March 1, 2026. Katz emphasized that Israel Army radio should serve as a platform supporting Israeli soldiers rather than criticizing them or airing political opinions.
This decision has been declared illegal by the Israeli Media Council.
The head of the regime’s Democratic Party said prime Minister Netanyahu aims to silence channels advocating for an investigative committee into operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
Notably, contrary to claims by the Israeli regime about freedom of speech within the occupied territories, both Arab and international media operating there face severe censorship when reporting facts.
