«Coordination Framework» Consultations Advance Toward Forming Iraq’s New Government

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al-Maloumeh, Issam Shakir, a member of the Coordination Framework coalition, stated that discussions among coalition groups have begun to draft a plan for establishing the upcoming government.
He added that although initial parliamentary election results have been released, they are considered final and provide a general outlook on seat distribution.
Shakir noted that coalition groups agree on the core principles for forming the new government. However, it is still too early to identify the next prime minister as negotiations are ongoing.
Earlier, Abdullah al-Dulaimi, member of Iraq’s Azm Alliance, emphasized that all political parties and coalitions must work together to expedite forming the new government.
He warned that any delays in this process could lead Iraq toward risky consequences.
