New Israeli Military Movements in Southern Syria

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Mayadeen, Syrian sources have reported renewed activity by the Israeli regime in southern Syria.
Local Syrian sources stated that Israeli forces entered the village of Ma’araya in the Yarmouk Basin on the western outskirts of Daraa. They launched extensive gunfire toward the western outskirts of this village.
The sources also said that during an attack near the village of Kuwaya, west of Daraa, occupying forces fired indiscriminately.
It is noteworthy that since the fall of Syria’s former regime, Israel has carried out widespread attacks inside Syria. Recently, it bombed areas in Damascus under the pretext of supporting Druze communities.
Since Bashar al-Assad’s regime fell, Israel’s army has continued crossing the ceasefire line between its occupied Golan Heights and Syrian territory to maintain occupation over areas near Golan within Daraa and Quneitra provinces.
